The Revenue Analyst supports the Revenue Management efforts allowing the company to optimize revenues and make our brand promise come alive through the delivery of high level services to customers. Responsible for gathering data, achieving revenue goals, create and maintain new tools to assist in increasing market share.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Supervise Reservations Department Staff
*Recommend discipline and termination as appropriate
*Conduct performance reviews, coach and counsel associates, interview and recommend hiring
*Prepare weekly schedules
*Develop and maintain analytical tools
*Utilize all revenue related tools to increase RevPAR
*Ensure placement and rate positioning on all distribution channels
*Assist Director of Revenue with update of selling restrictions in all distribution channels
*Conduct audit checks to ensure inventory controls and rate parity
*Be knowledgeable and assist with the preparation of weekly 14-day and monthly 90-Day Forecasts
*Be knowledgeable of all special rates and promotions
*Bachelor's Degree or higher.
*2 years experience in Reservations, Sales or Front Office
*Comprehensive knowledge of markets and trends.
*Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
*Excellent working knowledge of all reservations system.
*Knowledge of management strategies and techniques
*Operational knowledge of national sales process, Delphi, GDS, and third party internet distribution.
*Knowledge of technical and managerial applications of Outlook, PMS, CRES, Microsoft Office and other appropriate PC applications.
*Able to create, implement and analyze manual and automated reports. |
